Fuji Film jumps into the medium format camera world with its new offering the GFX 50S mirrorless 51.4MP camera scheduled to hit shelves in 2017.
Boasting to be smaller and lighter than most medium format cameras the GFX 50S looks a lot like bigger version of the traditional D-SLR with a few cool accessories including a rotating EVF prism viewfinder. Six lenses ranging from the 23MM – 120MM are slated for market also in 2017.
The GFX 50S has the same 51.4MP pixel count at the Pentax 645Z and the Hasselblad X1D.
I am very curious to see how this camera performs against its competitors as well as its price point.
